Road trip:

Filmmaking is a passion turned into a career. I've always loved storytelling and film as the medium through which to do it. Growing up in Saudi Arabia, I was constantly filming whatever was unfolding around me — long before I understood it would become my profession.

My early career began in extreme sports in California, producing skate films for leading brands and broadcasters including Fuel TV and Extreme Sports Channel. It was fast, raw and formative — learning to shoot, cut and deliver under pressure.

Documentary filmmaking soon became the focus. I joined Emmy Award-winning Current TV in London, where I spent four years developing and directing factual content. From there, I worked extensively across Africa, producing films for Al Jazeera, the BBC and tourism boards — covering stories ranging from former child soldiers returning from the LRA to conservation work with gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

In 2014, I relocated to Dubai and joined Films by Nomad, where I progressed to Director and Head of Production. There, I helped scale the company’s output across documentary, broadcast and branded entertainment — directing on ESPN’s Fighting Fit, contributing to award-winning productions and shaping the creative direction of major regional projects.

Today, as Creative Director & Executive Producer, I lead multi-territory productions across the Middle East and internationally — partnering with broadcasters, government entities and global brands. Our work has included National Geographic, Discovery Channel and COP28, and in 2023 Films by Nomad was named the only GCC company in the Realscreen Global 200.
